On December 13th, in Shanghai, the sustainable supply chain platform for automotive suppliers — Drive+ China Network was officially launched at the 17th International Conference on Sustainability Disclosure (Yangtze River Delta Region), hosted by the GoldenBee ThinkTank.
Drive Sustainability (DS), initiated in 2013 by leading global automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), has become a significant partnership network for sustainable supply chains in the automotive industry. Currently, DS includes 12 partners and 4 supporters.
In 2017, Drive Sustainability China (DS China) was successfully launched, with 7 OEM members. As DS China facilitator, GoldenBee Consulting is dedicated to implementing sustainable supply chain management practices among top global OEMs in China, thereby enhancing the sustainability management of the Chinese automotive supply chain. The launch ceremony for Drive+ was moderated by Dai Yibo, Director of DS China and Vice President of GoldenBee Consulting.
She stated that Drive+ is a collaborative platform, supported by OEMs, aimed at Tier-1 suppliers and suppliers organization. Its goal is to extend the principles and practices of sustainable supply chain management from OEMs to Tier-1 suppliers and then to the entire supply chain. The launch of Drive+ not only strengthens cooperation across all levels of the supply chain but also enhances transparency and accountability, contributing to the achievement of global sustainability goals. Currently, Drive+ global network, facilitated by CSR Europe, has gathered over 30 Tier-1 suppliers and 6 supplier organizations. With the official launch of Drive+ in China, GoldenBee Consulting, as the local facilitator, will support more Chinese Tier-1 suppliers in engaging deeply in global sustainability practices.
At the launch event, representatives from OEMs and suppliers were present.Geely Holding Group, Volvo Group, and Joyson Electronics, shared their experience in supply chain management especially the values of sustainability management activities.
Finally, the Drive+ China Network, was officially launched. Representatives from Geely Holding, Volvo Group, Scania China, Shanghai Baolong Automotive, Linglong Tire, Joyson Electronics, SKF Automotive, VREMT and Zhongding Group jointly witnessed the launch.
In 2025, GoldenBee Consulting will continue to promote sustainability management and improve sustainability performance of Chinese enterprises in supply chain by DS and Drive+ activities including trainings and exchange events etc.
