2024 China Automotive Industry Sustainable Development Practice Cases officially released

From July 11 to 13, the 14th China Auto Forum, hosted by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, was held in Jiading, Shanghai.

With the theme "Leading New Changes for a Win-Win Future," this year's forum featured a closed-door summit, plenary forum, over 10 thematic forums, 9 major releases, and thematic visit activities, along with several supporting events. The aim is to gather collective strength to form a consensus on development, guide the future direction, and promote the sustainable and high-quality development of the automotive industry.

On the afternoon of July 12, at the "Thematic Forum: ESG Development from an International Perspective," the 2024 China Automotive Industry Sustainable Development Practice Cases were grandly released, becoming another highlight of this year's forum.

The call for the 2024 China Automotive Industry Sustainable Development Practice Cases , guided by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, was initiated by GoldenBee ThinkTank, with full professional support throughout the process.

After a rigorous selection process, a total of 39 cases from 26 companies were included.

These selected cases not only demonstrate how companies in China's automotive industry, under the guidance of sustainability philosophy, work closely with stakeholders, actively practice social responsibility, and jointly address multi-dimensional challenges such as environmental, economic, and social issues. They also highlight the innovative and competitiveness-enhancing corproate practices  in the pursuit of sustainable development.

These cases also provide novel and valuable reference experiences for companies in related industries in terms of social responsibility initiatives and exploration of sustainable development. They are of profound significance to China's steady journey from being a major automotive country to a powerful automotive nation.
