Reminder: The 25th Sino-European Roundtable Forum on July 21

As a professional and practical communication platform and channel for corporate social responsibility (CSR), the Sino-European CSR Round Table Forum has been successfully held 25 times in the past years. It has been well received by stakeholders and conducted with great support from participants, including relevant Chinese government departments, CSR organizations as well as Chinese and European enterprises.

Addressing climate change has become an international consensus nowadays. As the EU's proposed the vision of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, and China is committed to peak carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2060, relevant top-level designs and policies have been introduced intensively, providing macro guidance for companies to reduce carbon emissions. Accordingly, leading brands have successively announced their own carbon neutrality or decarbonization goals to accelerate their carbon reduction, with remarkable results achieved; some tools, like amfori BEPI, are also vital to supply chain carbon reduction. More and more companies are integrating carbon reduction into supply chain management to realize the zero (low) carbon transition of the supply chain.

The supply chain surely will drive countless low-carbon opportunities in the future. From planning, procurement, production to delivery, each step contains opportunities to reduce carbon emissions. The requirements for carbon emission reduction in different regions and production steps impose impacts on the international trade and supply chains. Tracking the updates on policies is crucial for the low-carbon supply chains. To this end, the 26th RT forum will invite sustainability experts, brands and suppliers to share the latest regional policies, supply chain carbon reduction ideas and practices, providing with carbon reduction and emission reduction solutions to shape the low-carbon transformation of supply chains.
