On June 22, the official website of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) announced the results of the second UN SDG Good Practices. The first "GoldenKey — Sustainable Development Solutions Campaign” was selected, recognized by the United Nations.

Launched by UNDESA, the second open call for SDG good practices, success stories, and lessons learned was conducted from 2 December 2020 to 14 March 2021. The purpose of this call was to highlight examples of good practices, including those that could be replicated or scaled-up by others across the globe. More than 700 completed submissions from government agencies, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, private sector, academic groups and other sectors were collected.

A dedicated inter-agency team comprised of experts from across the United Nations System analyzed each of the submissions and decided whether they would be approved to be identified as SDG Good Practices. Members of the Inter-Agency Team represented the following 24 United Nations Entities: CBD, ECE, ECLAC, ESCAP, ESCWA, FAO, IAEA, ILO, IMO, IOM, ITU, UNCTAD, UN DESA, UNDP, UNDRR, UNEP, UNFPA, UN-HABITAT, UNIDO, UNITAR, UNODC, UNU, UNWOMEN, WTO. After review, 464 cases were selected and named as UN SDG Good Practices, and be displayed on UNDESA website. Among them, 29 cases from China were selected.

The first "GoldenKey — Sustainable Development Solutions Campaign” launched by China Sustainability Tribune and its partners received extensive participation and support from Chinese enterprises. 94 actions from 79 enterprises have entered the roadshow and selection through the evaluation, creating a platform to show Chinese private sector’s contribution to SDG, which conforms to the four evaluation criteria of UN SDG Good Practices:

- SDG-Specific

- Results-focused

- Inclusiveness

- Accountability, Sustainability and Replicability

Meanwhile, six of the first GoldenKey · Excellence actions were also selected into UN SDG Good Practices, demonstrating the wisdom and action of China's sustainable development on the international platform. These GoldenKey Actions are:
