Roadshow of GoldenKey — China SDG Awards launched

The roadshow of the GoldenKey — China SDG Awards launched by China Sustainability Tribune was held on December 16.

94 actions from 79 enterprises were presented on the roadshow with themes of Tech4SDG, Trans4future, Well-being for All, Better Life, Quality Education, No Poverty, Action4nature, Zero Waste and Green Growth. After the scoring by the jury of GoldenKey experts and the public votes, 37 actions were selected for the GoldenKey · Excellence award and would further run for GoldenKey · Champion. The other 57 actions won the award of GoldenKey · Honorable.

On the day of the roadshow, a jury of more than 20 experts from CSR/SDG organizations and senior management of CSR/SDG in business circle reviewed and gave valuable suggestions to all actions involved in the roadshow.

Participants in the roadshow include central SOEs, foreign-funded enterprises and private enterprises of various industries. There are actions dealing with the waste, climate change and biodiversity, and also actions for poverty alleviation, children protection and youth development. Technology empowerment is also presented with stories of AI search, drones into cotton fields, as well as sustainable energy in "2020 Hangzhou Asian Games", etc.

High-quality actions with persuasive presentations provide an idea-exchanging platform to promote mutual cooperation for a sustainable ecological circle. The event was supported by China Mengniu Dairy Company Limited, Infinitus, Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and Swiss Reinsurance Company Ltd..

The award winners of GoldenKey · Excellence will further compete for GoldenKey · Champion, the highest award of the China SDG Awards. The awarding ceremony will be held on January 7, 2021, and the final winners of GoldenKey · Champion will also be announced at the time.
