No.2 OECD passes the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct

 
According to the news on OECD’s official website released on May 31, the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct was approved. The Guidance provides practical support to enterprises on the implementation of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises by providing plain language explanations of its due diligence recommendations. This is also the first government-supported due diligence reference document applicable for all types of enterprises operating in all countries and all industry sectors.

When conducting business, enterprises should consider the bottom line of their activities and manage the negative impact of their activities on society. This is the guarantee for the sustainable operation of enterprises and also the nature of social responsibility fulfillment. As the first government-supported due diligence document applicable for all types of enterprises operating in all countries and all industry sectors, the release of the Guidance helps ensure that governments and businesses work together to promote responsible business conduct, and to push forward inclusive and sustainable growth on a global scale.
