Since 2006, China WTO Tribune has set up annual columns of the top ten CSR events in the past year. China WTO Tribune presents you the Top Ten CSR Events in China in 2017.
 
No.10 Guideline on Corporate Social Responsibility Reporting for Foreign-invested Enterprises in China released
   
On December 22, China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (CAEFI) official released Guideline on Corporate Social Responsibility Reporting for Foreign-invested Enterprises in China released. It encourages and promotes more foreign-invested enterprises to release standardized social responsibility report regularly and continuously. On the same day, nine foreign-invested enterprises collectively issued their own social responsibility reports and jointly launched an initiative in response to the Guideline.
 
Reason for listing:
 
The Guideline is a summary of excellent experiences from a large number of foreign-invested enterprises in releasing social responsibility reports, and it is also a collection of their creative practices in CSR fulfillment. The Guideline will be conducive to the more standardized social responsibility information disclosure of foreign-invested enterprises, and helps them actively to communicate with stakeholders in an open and transparent way. It will provide good reference for enterprises and industries to carry out social responsibility work.
