Founded in December 1992, Guangdong Yueyun Transportation Company Limited (Yueyun Transportation for short) mainly provides motor transport and supporting services, integrated logistic services and expressway related services. By the late June 2015, the total assets of Yueyun Transportation registered has reached 7,144 million yuan with net assets of 2,876 million yuan. With more than 20,000 employees, it has 96 secondary or lower holding subsidiaries and 41 joint stock companies and entrusted units.

Meanwhile, in the “Internet+” era, the blooming logistics development caused by the rapid development of E-commerce raises a higher requirement for the road transportation. Popularize Energy-saving and Environment-friendly Cars
 
Establish a green transportation system. Firstly, in the period of 2012-2014, with RMB 0.4 billion environment protection funds for vehicle outfitting renewal and remolding, Yueyun Transportation gradually abandons operating vehicles with high energy consumption and pollution, accelerates the application and popularization of energy-saving and environment-friendly new energy vehicles or clean energy vehicles that meet various emission standards and have low energy consumption, so as to build an energy-saving enterprise. In addition, Yueyun Transportation establishes its own NGV gas station after setting up the joint-venture Guangdong PetroChina-Yueyun Natural Gas Co., Ltd. with PetroChina and other enterprises, and cooperates with the gas stations established via the social force, so as to jointly promote the construction of the gas station network.　　
 
Promote the energy-saving and environment-protection technology application project. Actively using the LNG vehicles, Yueyun Transportation in zhaoqing becomes the first enterprise applying the road transport LNG vehicles in Guangdong Province, which not only reduces the fuel cost during vehicle operation but also significantly reduces the emissions of harmful tail gases and greenhouse gases. At the same time, actively summarizing and solving the technical problems appeared during LNG vehicle use, Yueyun Transportation forms a systematic and scientific LNG vehicle operation organization pattern, thus playing a demonstration and guide effect for the development of green road transportation and promotion of energy conservation and emission reduction of this industry.　
 
Popularize the application of electric motor buses. In 2014, Yueyun Transportation, in an attempt to accelerate the popularization and application of electric motor buses, invested RMB 70 million self-raised and government granted funds and purchased 48 pure electric buses and hybrid power buses. In addition, Yueyun Transportation independently constructed charging facilities and equipment, filling new power for the transformation and upgrading of Guangdong economy and improvement of people's livelihoods.
 
Establish the Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction System　
 
Establish an effective evaluation and rewards & punishment mechanism. Yueyun Transportation establishes and implements the “three saving (fuel saving, tire saving and maintenance cost saving) evaluation” regulation method and links fuel consumption, tire consumption and the maintenance cost to driver evaluation, thereby improving the fuel saving enthusiasm and initiative of the drivers. Furthermore, Yueyun Transportation draws up the Regulation on Waste Operating Vehicles and Vehicle Material Disposal, promoting the disposal for the waste operating vehicles and waste vehicle materials to accord with the national environmental protection stipulations, thereby improving the environmental protection disposal and recycle rate of waste materials.　
 
Establish a scientific vehicle maintenance system. In 2014, Yueyun Transportation published the Development Plan of Automobile Maintenance and Repair Business (2014-2018), planning to increase vehicle fault diagnosis and repair equipment within five years, optimally configure repair resources and implement unified management, so as to improve the vehicle maintenance technology level and ability. At the same time, to enhance enterprise energy saving management and improve the energy utilization efficiency. All subsidiaries have entrusted the third party to or independently carried out the energy auditing work, so the energy management work can develop in a more scientific and standard direction.
 
Advocate a green and low carbon consumption pattern. Yueyun Transportation organizes special trainings for drivers and repairmen in batches at regular time, to introduce the fuel saving experience and driving operation method. Yueyun Transportation also organizes fuel saving games for drivers to improve the drivers’ understanding about the optimum fuel-saving operation method, guide the drivers to develop good driving habits, conscientiously maintain the road conditions, and advocate the green and low carbon consumption pattern of transportation.

Yueyun Transportation has obtained prominent environment benefit by actively popularizing and using the new energy vehicles and promoting the energy conservation and emission reduction work. It is estimated that in 2014, the LNG vehicles of Yueyun Transportation have saved 59,000 tons of standard coal and reduced 41,700 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. In 2015, Yueyun Transportation is expected to save 1,237.33 tons of standard coal and reduce 2,658.46 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, which will have an important significance for ecological environment protection.
 
Economic Benefit
 
By optimizing the energy consumption structure, Yueyun Transportation reduces the transportation cost and ensures its healthy and sustainable development. Furthermore, the LNG Clean Energy Vehicle Replacement and Energy Saving Technology Modification Project declared by Yueyun Transportation won RMB 2 million subsidy of Guangdong energy saving circular economy special funds of 2013; Guangdong transportation energy conservation and emission reduction demonstration project Application of LNG New Energy Buses declared by Yueyun Transportation (Qingyuan) in 2013 won RMB 150,000 subsidies from the provincial government.
 
Due to its outstanding contributions to low carbon transportation and green travel, Yueyun Transportation was granted the honorary titles of “the Advanced Enterprise in National Transportation Green and Cycle Low Carbon Construction” of 2014 and “the Low Carbon Energy Conservation and Environment Protection Model Enterprise of the National Transportation Enterprises” of 2015.
