As a semiconductor display technology, product and service provider, BOE achieves a rapid growth of volume of business but it also faces with the high energy consumption, high material consumptions and high pollution brought by the increasing numbers of operating stations and the increasing construction area. Bio-safety disposal
The waste gas treatment equipment in BOE are with a condensation pretreatment system, and BOE also gradually promotes the pipeline renovation, all of which have significantly reduced the emissions of nitrogen oxides and VOCs gases. At the same time, by promoting the packaging material recycling and process adjustment to reduce leftover material and classification and recycling, BOE have effectively reduced the waste, and recycled raw materials, like the etching liquid, stripping liquid and thinner.
Minimize the energy consumption
In March 2012, BOE invested more than 90 million for 8.5 line photovoltaic power generation project. BOE laid 21,276 pieces of solar panels on the 110,000 square meters roof of plants with a total installed capacity of 5,000 kilowatts, greatly reducing the energy consumption. In addition, the plants constantly promote energy-saving equipment renovation, and greatly reduced the production energy consumption by measure of vacuum pump renovation, CDA system optimization, FFU speed adjustment, heat recovery unit introduction.
Recycle resource reuse
in pure water preparation process, BOE processed the part of the condensed RO water and reuse it in pure water preparation system according to the water use principle by quality; The rest of the RO condensed water will go the recycled water use system for links in exhaust gas spray, circulation and cooling, feed water for waste water treatment, the water flushing in the plant and water for afforestation. In addition, the water left from the preparation process of ultrapure water is recycled for humidifying the air conditioning system, which greatly improved the recycling utilization of water resources.

Social benefits
Between 2010 and 2015, BOE formed the virtuous circle of ecological system and economic system. under the condition that the production increased nearly 8 times, water consumption per unit product and energy consumption per unit product fell 68.6% and 64.14% respectively, and greenhouse gas emissions decreased by 67.63%.In 2015, BOE implemented a total of 90 electricity-saving and water-saving renovation projects, including 11 key electricity-saving renovation projects, saving a total of 51.9808 million kilowatt hours power; Four water-saving projects save a total of 7.479 million tons water. In addition, through the renovation on waste gas treatment equipment, BOE realized the annual reduction of 40 tons nitrogen oxides, and reduced about 2.5 tons emissions of VOCs; the comprehensive utilization rate of hazardous waste reached 80.31%.
Economic benefits
After the BOE 8.5 linen photovoltaic power generation project put into production, the average annual output reaches 6 million degrees. for the 25-year design life cycle, it can provide 150 million degrees clean electricity totally, saving 60000 tons of coal and 120 million yuan of electricity.
