2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of People’s Republic of China. In the past 70 years, China has impressed the world with its achievements. For a better and sustainable future, the CSR development needs to become the endogenous momentum of Chinese enterprises for pursuing transformation and upgrading, competitiveness and social influence. At the 74th session of the UN General Assembly, all Member States reached a consensus that ensuring success of SDGs is the top priority of the current UN work. China has also provided a “Chinese plan” for global poverty reduction and governance cause. By 2020, China will achieve the goal of completely eliminating poverty and pulling the poor above the current standard, which means that China will realize the poverty reduction goal set by the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development 10 years in advance. The new situation brings new opportunities for CSR development in China, and also puts forward new requirements for CSR information disclosure.

The International Conference on CSR Reporting in China is the earliest high-end professional platform in China for leading domestic and foreign enterprises to discuss CSR reporting together, and serves as an important window for CSR reporting preparation and report release. The 12th International Conference on CSR Reporting in China will focus on hot topics including new trends of international CSR reporting in 2019, new standards of information disclosure, etc. Leading Chinese and international enterprises, research institutions, industry associations, governments and NGOs who do better in CSR reporting and application will be invited here to jointly promote the CSR development in China. The “2019 GoldenBee CSR Report Honor Roll” will also be released during the conference.
