About the forum
Since 2005, the forum has been successfully held for nine consecutive years and has been a highly inclusive platform to engage Chinese government, industry associations, and CSR professionals from enterprises and international organizations. More than 4,000 enterprises have participated in it.
 
2006 marks the first year of CSR development in China. From 2006 to 2015, a large number of Chinese enterprises established their social responsibility concepts and management systems, performed good practices and improved the performance in this regard. 2016 is the beginning of CSR development in the next 10 years when CSR and sustainable development become the global trend. People think over their previous development mode, for environmental and social issues are getting even more prominent in the context of global economic prosperity created by industrial civilization. It is a big challenge for both China and the world to get rid of the outdated economic development mode. Over the past decade, we have witnessed the vibrant development of CSR in China. The focus of the forum this year is to inspire thinking on how CSR will follow the innovative path to drive the development.
